PEACE AND LOVE

One of a series of works created for the 100 year anniversary of the invasion of Korea, in Peace and Love, 17-year-old martyr Yu Gwan-Sun carries olive branches, as she watches over her fellow countrymen as they pray for peace. The sepia toned, oil on canvas tribute uses original newspapers from 1919.
