Janus is an acrylic on clayboard work that is the 1st in the artist’s Bicycle series created during the global Covid-19 pandemic. In this work a girl pedals her bike through a snowstorm in January, carefully watched over by doves of peace, as she attempts to enter the safety offered by a waiting open door.
