Ladder of Love is the artist’s interpretation of her arrival on earth. Born to an addicted, abusive father, Maureen Gaffney Wolfson’s early childhood years with her mother involved cheap hotels and bouncing from home to home. However, her mother provided her with a strong foundation, introducing her to the arts, as together they climbed the ladder towards a life of love which the artist continues climbing to this day.
